As with anything else. Cooperation and coordination can get that bill passed.

If all fishermen just do not buy their lic and do not buy tackle, spend money in any way
toward fishing for just one year and you can pass any bill you want. Losing 1 Billion dollars revenue, and potentially 5 Billion for the future will get the full attention of the WA legislature and especially the WDFW.

That would just about be a full guarantee

But as with anti gun bill fights, getting people to move on it is all but impossible.

So the Letters and testimony's and all the basics needs to be done and a bit of prayer won't hurt

Sounds like a great bill if they do give Sport Fishermen the majority of the fish and seasons.
The other problem is sport fishermen don't grease the palms of the politicos as the commercial guys do........................Yeah true.................

Yep, that is the problem, getting people off their azzes and involved in the process!!!
If only one person who see's this post and gets involved by calling or e-mailing their reps and show them that they support it and will vote accordingly next time they are up for re-election. And then get one person.... the stage is set, then I have done my part.

Yes Taku, and you are right, it's no different than anti-gun legislation, people just have to get off the couch!!!
