Got a question for ya'll.
I've got a brother with a Vortex Razor HD like new he's willing to sell me for $1200.
I'm looking to put it on a DD5V1.
Any opinions on price and suitability?

Opticsplanet had these on clearance last year. With their discount code, the price was $975, shipped. Before this clearance sale, I believe the going price was around $1200, so he's in the ballpark on the price. If you're going for a lightweight setup with your DD, you better take a hard pass. This little piggy of a scope is 3lbs without rings or a mount.

As far as the quality of the scope - the glass is really clear, the turrets feel good, and the tracking is perfect, at least on the one I have. Mine gets swapped around on bolt guns and AR's for load development work. If I was going to put this scope on a rifle that was going to be carried or hunted a lot, I'd look for a lighter weight option.
