I recently uncovered an old 25 lb bag of shotgun shot in the garage, looks to be #2 shot. I am wondering what other uses it might be good for as far as reloading. Most likley it is pure lead, but do not know for sure. AFAIK pure lead would be too soft for most centerfire cast loads ovet 1000fps. Completly in the dark about this, no experience casting bullets or reloading shotshells. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Most likely will offer it up in the classifieds if no use to me.
Thanx, WB

Lead sled weight.

Full crevices in lightweight stocks.

Fishing weights.

Fill a stock partially full for, purposes.

Post it up for sale if you don't need it for one of the suggested uses. I took some of my old rusted shot from a bulk purchase and it made a great lead sled weight. Also useful for holding down tent and canopies as well.
