Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I've done a fair amount of reloading with .357 Max, .357 Mag and .38 Special, a very similar situation as this. I can use the "longer" dies for everything but the crimp. Then it's just the reverse. Can always use the "shorter" die for seating and crimping, just have it screwed out of the tool head a ways. I suppose that you could remove material off of the end of the longer seating/crimping die to allow the die to be screwed down closer to the shell holder if you really wanted to....
