I would like to possitively identify this . The ammo can has always been white and never been green.
It has what looks to be a serial number on it . With a embossed round on the lid and the flaming bomb on both ends . It is full of old medical supplies some from the red cross in portland. With some antique medical bottles .
Ive never seen another like it. The ammo can looks to be a seldom seen ww1 era 30 cal. , , It looks to be WW1 era , civil defense possibly ?
Any accurate info would be appreciated

Not original to the box. The box is a T4 Ammunition Box for use in armored vehicles (think bow or coaxial .30). They were painted white to match the interior of the vehicle. Ordnance bombs are not stamped on Medical Department equipment anyways. The contents look like they could be from the 1930s-late 40s depending on the individual piece, possibly a home-made kit from just after the war?

not a military issued first aid kit looks more like a home made kit like said above the ben gay box looks like around 1960 ish
I bet if you spend some time and google each piece you may be able to date the contents in the ammo can
