Well......No.....:D
But the army..has weird rules of engagement at times....and won't let one play with :
LAW Rockets , M203's or grenades , when those would be the perfect solution to what is vexing you.

As a civilian combatant in SHTF/ MOUT, ROE and Escalation of Force requirements are out the window.

Yes.
However...
Urban Warfare itself may place a restriction on what you can use due the just where you are fighting.
As in...
We have a lot of discussion in home defense of over penetration of bullets / shot....
That issue won't go away in case of war.
You will still have to be mindful of where your shots will go and just who is nearby.

Also it is wise no matter what , to use just enough force to stop a threat / defend yourself.
Warfare can breed retaliation and as a civilian you may not be treated the same as soldier in regards to being a POW or the like....
So how you fight and what amount of force used may be important.

when an overwhelming invasion force is destroying your city and it's only goal is to kill or subjugate you, all that bullet over penetration, just enough force to stop threat goes right out the window. Civilians being issued AK's by the government with minimal training, if any, is a clear indication of such.

If you have friendlies in the other room. / near by ..which can happen....it still is a issue.
Also just enough force is good both tactical and strategic thinking and planning....
War is far more that shooting and killing...at least with my experience of four combat tours.
( To include experience with urban combat )

"The Russians are no strangers to house to house fighting. I hope the Russians go home soon, no winners here."

Apparently any racial memories lingering from Stalingrad are now null and void. They don't seem to be doing too well right now.
I doubt that the Ukrainians have forgotten the millions of dead as a gift from Uncle Joe. The USSR was responsible for the deaths of more of its citizens than Schicklgruber & Co. and that goes double in Ukraine.

The way the Russians handle house-to-house and urban fighting in general now is to blow up the whole area with artillery and rocket fire, including banned thermobaric weapons against a civilian population. Look up the Second Battle of Grozny.

I keep seeing this suggested but am not super convinced. Seems like west side propaganda.

It took us ~3 weeks to take Baghdad, no? Why would we expect Russians to take Kiev faster, when they can only move so far in a day?

The Ruskies have a history of starting conflicts with conscripts and for stomaching larger troop losses than we would normally be comfortable with…So how do we know that they're not doing well right now? How do we know this isn't going to their plan or expectation?

It doesn't matter. They'll have to kill everyone and then snuff out the concept of justice. Their days are numbered since the whole world has condemned them.

Condemned just like a druggie screaming curses at their dealer only to return the next week for another fix.

Real condemnation would require Europe to get off Russian oil. Will they, and us, work together to make that happen? Yea…didn't think so.

Oh well, time will tell.
