Let it rain, I'm actually OK with it.
I'd rather deal with it than leave the job to my children and possible future grand children.

I agree. You can see the "elite" who have a significant amount of control over the various branches of government are calling for "gun control." They're scared because American's have the ability to mobilize via social media at a faster pace than ever before. Us Deplorables are the ones standing up and fighting for our country: or at least for the "elite."
We can evoke Article VI the Supremacy Clause within the US Constitution and demand it recognized as "Supreme Law of the Land." Article VI says the US Constitution trumps the Highest Court (Supreme), All Inferior Courts, State Constitutions, and any Legislation that violates it. It says Judges must be in good standing in order to be funded and to hold the positions: so all the unconstitutional judges should not be collecting a paycheck nor should they be allowed to sit in the position.
- We can stop volunteering ourselves to serve leadership (Armed Forces) that does not recognize Article VI.
- We can demand the Supreme Court abide by the US Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Justices be disbarred.
- We can demand all Inferior Courts cease and desist unconstitutional laws and regulations.
- We can write our POTUS, Congress, Senators, cease funding to the judges who violate constitutionality. (I'm sure NRA has a list)
- We can unite on social media and form a huge coordinated network of citizens who support the US Constitution and recognize it as Supreme Law of the Land.
- Beyond this point we can cut all federal funding to governments that refuse to abide by the US Constitution: and cut them off from all aid. Governors who refuse to abide, can step down, or citizens can vote to unsurp from the US and become a sovereign state. Congress can then decide if they want to invade and seize these rogue states. Similar the what we see with Russia and Ukraine: except we have legal justification to reclaim the territory.
Trump will be re-elected, especially with all the media rhetoric sparking knee jerk nationalism. But none of it will come to pass if you do not get off your couch and get to work! Write your leaders, vote, rally, organize, organize, organize! Let's fight and win the battle before our children have to go to war! There will be hangings, there will be violence, but it will be constitutional. If we wait for a full on Revolution, it will cost the lives of too many of our children.
The reason why the anti gun crowd got traction is because gun owners are a quiet majority. The anti gun encuturated the "gun nut" fallacy in the media and Hollywood, while we laughed at the stereotypes. They started winning judges over politically early on. Anti gun legislation had long been used to subjugate various ethnic/social classes throughout the US mostly in "urban" areas. The underlying issue is that US populations are aging and increasingly connected via internet networks and many of the elites fear an armed populace for numerous reasons. In the end it's about control and getting the populations to conform. The founders knew it would come to this, this is why they hated the word democracy, because it allows mob rule to govern individual freedom. This is why they drafted the US Constitution and they protected it with the Supremacy Clause: Article VI. Despite this, we have allowed our leaders and courts to violate Article VI. When I listen to antis claim the Second Amendment refers to National Guard and muskets, it cracks me up because they can't even produce a compelling argument with a straight face. It means all citizens can form a well regulated militia, and all citizens can bear arms and that right shall not be infringed. Pretty straight forward. Judicial scholars who claim otherwise are just easily conned by anti gun academics that teach such nonsense in law schoolsI've tried to inform people to get off the couch here on the left coast but many think that they have way too much to loose if they get involved by being spotted at a Pro 2A rally by family members or the boss....
I've got news for you all, you are wrong to be complacent and let those who will take your rights.
I believe he will not seek a second term. He's an old man, not in great shape, rich and has demands put on him daily. He served and I think that will be enough. The only way he will not be re elected is if he is dead or conservatives decide not to vote.
I'd rather deal with it than leave the job to my children and possible future grand children.

Want to bet? He was all that in '15 but couldn't stand what the Manchurian Candidate had done to our country, and with a globalist / Soros shill promising a third Obama term, he had to act - and did he upset the establishment apple-cart ? His ego is what has made him successful, and it won't let him quit. As they are saying in Paris now, Viv La Trump.I believe he will not seek a second term. He's an old man, not in great shape, rich and has demands put on him daily. He served and I think that will be enough.
I don't think it takes an analytical genius to see which way the winds are blowing here in the good ole Pac NW, we couldn't even convince the people of this state not to vote away their "God Given" rights let alone to have the backbone to stand up and fight for them......and if the libs can't succeed the first time the votes get counted all they need to do is learn from their mentors in the golden state and start "Harvesting Ballots".
We arrive. We do our jobs. We get along. We go our separate ways. Just as people have been doing for a long time.

Life, on a daily basis, simply doesn't reflect the crazy we're told is happening everywhere.
