Wondering if there are any UAV (drone) pilots on this forum. I'll be getting a UAV for Christmas, and would like to talk with western Washington people about flying. I have found other forums about UAVs, but I haven't yet found one frequented by NW and w. Wa flyers.

I'd kinda hoped to chat with people who enjoy flying UAVs. Where they go to fly. What equipment they have. Just general flying stuff. I'll be getting a drone for Christmas. I have plenty of time on my hands. I'll have time for both my shooting activities, and flying activities. Lucky me.

I think they would be great for scouting and exploring.
I was golfing one day and saw a guy flying a gas powered helocopter. That sucker was fast and extremely impressive.
I couldn't stop watching the aerial acrobatics

Be careful out there with a drone. Here in yUK we just had a certified Cat 5 AirMiss with a drone that passed within wingspan distance of an airliner on finals at London Heathrow airport -
