Wanted to try some turkey shooting this year and my only shotgun is an 18" barreled Winchester Model 1200, slug gun. What the heck, I'll just get another barrel. I found a 30" full choke on e-Bay and here's what I ended up with. I had a problem right off the bat, when I attempted to put the longer barrel on.
The slug gun magazine tube is 3" longer (6 rnds.) than the standard tube and the magazine cap is what holds the barrel in place. Oh well, that's what PVC tubing and a lathe are for a?

I was so used to that Riot Gun barrel length, I feel like I've got a bayonet on the end.
That's the 18" slug barrel laying there with cammo tape wrapped around it.
Will try to pattern the long barrel this weekend.
