No cam. Other driver has a cooperating witness. He says cops came but doesn't mention whether either driver was cited. Lacking the police having cited the other driver, I'd say he's screwed. That is assuming he rear-ended her. He's not super specific about how it happened, but it sounds like she may have cut in front of him.

Probably here for sure. Others reading this if the do not now, should get at least one cam. Like all tech, these things are so cheap now days they all but give them away. They are great to have. Wife had a REAL close call while back that if she had not been so fast on the brakes cam would have been nice. Car waited till she was almost on top of them to jet out in front of her and she missed them by a coat of paint. Watching the tape a few times I think the other driver was just as scared by it as Wife. The shocked look on their face when they saw her makes it look like they were probably looking at their damn phone or such. If she had t boned the other driver and someone got badly hurt? That tape could have saved her butt since the other driver would of course claim they did "nothing wrong".

How did the other driver cut you off? If she cut in front of you and you hit her in the rear (of the car that is) you are screwed. The presumption of fault always falls on the person behind. You are supposed to maintain enough distance from the car in front of you to be able to stop safely, taking into consideration speed and road conditions. If you rear-ended her, suck it up buttercup. You pay.

Hopefully you have collision coverage (to pay for your car) as well as liability to pay for hers. Look for your insurance premiums to increase considerably.
