I think that one was vehicle/tripod mounted and weighs/weighed 460 lbs.

So would Thors hammer then be classified as an RPG?

Maybe because it'll do kinda what an RPG will? I really don't know. I don't know if an RPG can take out a tank at over a mile though.
The thing must be way cheaper to feed etc. than like a TOW missile or some such.. with perhaps like effectiveness.. given the various warheads/munitions available for it.

The Army finally discovered that firing $80,000 Javelin's at mudbrick houses is not very cost effective(but I imagine Raytheon approved). The era of shrinking budgets may actually bring some common sense into military procurement.

bore is greater than 50 cal so I guess it would be a DD as would each round - talk about suckage - every time you want to shoot it you have to pay a transfer tax/fee and wait for your 12 month background check...
