Thorntail6 Offset Scout Mount MLOK question

I am interested in this mount but I do have a few questions; I thought someone may be able to answer.

I'm running a BCM M-lok rail and for those of you who know they're pretty slim and I'm having a hard time finding an offset mount that will work with my arms front sight in regards to clearance issues and I'm interested in the thorntail.

I realize they are pretty darn versatile but with all the mounting holes I'm concerned about its rigidity and whether or not if the light is struck for some reason that it'll simply snap for lack of material.

Anyone have any experiences with these mounts or heard of any issues?
