What we have is an elitist ruling class actively working to turn the entirety of Western Civilization into little more than set of third world regions. Of course they, and their allies will be at the top of the food chain. Better to lord over a population of poverty stricken subjects that live as an equal among free citizens. But this vision can't be fulfilled with an armed populace.

We use it legally.
We should not have to modify a legally purchased defensive tool
and have limits on it i.e. mag cap, pistol grip, bayonet lug (which no one ever uses).

Next comes registration of all "evil weapons". Which only the evil
minded people use.

Like a previous poster stated, control of people, regardless of
2A, is the agenda.

Well as I keep saying gun owners vote in the people who are taking their rights. Until and unless this stops no, the people in charge will not stop. Gun owners are willingly giving up the rights they once had. Hard to change it until we get gun owners to care.

^^EXACTLY. Roughly 1.2M WA registered voters didn't cast a ballot. What could have been...(tho I don't want to dismiss the 1.25M who DID vote NO on 1639- ~1/7 of the state's population which was some 400K more NO's than what I594 got.) 1.25M...

Add to that the Fudds that 'support common sense gun control--as long as it doesn't effect me and my buddies and our non-evil, perfectly 'reasonable' sporting and hunting guns--and the rough road ahead is all uphill...staring at an avalanche coming down at us. And that starts now with who's in control in Olympia.

The opposition is not stupid and can't be underestimated...this is a very calculated strategy they are putting in place...it's a well-used playbook that's seen success elsewhere. And the repercussions to law abiding gun owners???'Well, sucks to be you (us)...'

One of their biggest successes has been the vilification of the NRA and its members...we're no longer respectable safety conscious marksmen/outdoorsmen/women...ALL the NRA does is oppose 'common sense' gun control and 'buy' politicians...

You see it all the time from the opposition 'No reasonable gun owner would oppose this common sense, safety legislation...' So from the very outset you're on the defensive...if you dare to oppose their next increment of control in the guise of 'common sense, safety blah blah blah' you're not a 'reasonable gun owner...'

If this doesn't unify/galvanize more folks to get more involved and make their voices heard...maybe even start getting at least some of the Fudds to wake up to what the real agenda is... I'm not sure what will. The time for fence sitting or thinking you can keep quiet/your head down and be left alone is passed.

As previously posted, 4-8 (maybe more) energetic, 100% full time, living-wage, boots-on-the-ground, gunshop-to-gunshop, range-to-range, match-to-match folks...combined with some serious social media campaigns might go a long way. Plus the NRA, SAF, GOA, and EVERY other pro2A group getting on the same page and work toward positively changing their image...

To quote a movie...'You ain't gotta stand tall in here, but you've got to stand up...'

Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson has announced what his legislative priorities will be in 2019, with gun control being a primary focus.

Mr. Ferguson is confused and/or has delusions of grandeur. He is the Attorney General, not the Governor. He shouldn't have a legislative agenda. His job is to enforce the laws passed by the Legislature, not to legislate or push for new legislation.

There is a huge socialist movement within a certain political party. The working class will be subject to higher taxes to pay for their socialist programs. They don't want an armed resistance to their policies. It is for the good of the party that the dissidents be disarmed. That is the philosophy of the communist party.

I've already been loading on items I know I can't buy 2 years from now. Northwesterner's really don't know how lucky you truly

Californian's in the wildest dreams cannot have FN FAL's, Steyr Aug's, AK's, etc. Glock Gen 4 and 5 are not legal because they are not
on the "APPROVED" list of defensive tools.

So who really gets the short end of the stick? Poor people. Forget the high cost of the defensive tool. Its the fees, registrations,
mandatory training they can't afford. Did I forget to mention that they have to be LICENSED to buy ammo which is another cost.

Very clever how they are putting a strangle hold on the citizens.

I would load up on everything I would want in the the future now. And learn how to reload safely.

You'll think and thank me in the future. It's going to happen folks. The next generation are being brainwashed in public schools
with hard liberal views. Those are the future voters.

Dont forget, the heat shield is also (In the list as) one of those very very dangerous modifications that turns that pump shotgun into a 12000 rpm mini gun.

As an aside, I was conversing with a person whom "isnt objectionable" to reasonable gun restrictions and mentioned that my Marlin 60's (22LR) will soon be classified as "military grade assault weapons" here in Oregon and will soon be banned. His reply was "Who needs even a 22 that will fire 40 rounds per second?" I then considered my 14 round tube magazine....................it only emphasized to me that these people for "reasonable gun restrictions" have not only been lied to but have not the common sense to realize that fact. The hardest part is that they respect those liars over those whom are telling them the truth. Good, bad or indifferent, when I consider such a sweeping change to the Constitution of The United States I would at least need some truth before making a decision. The truth in this case is obvious. A 22LR (Marlin 60) is never going to be a "military grade assault weapon" and will never be able to fire 40rps.

Some history and critical thinking classes would go a long way. Unfortunately all the "history" classes my daughter took in high school were essentially current events type platform with heavily slanted leftist spin by the teachers.
For all of you guys who either don't have kids or haven't had school aged kids for 2 or 3 decades, the indoctrination is very, very real.
