A lot of stuff seems like a bad idea AFTER you do it. 3-4 months from now they'll be out and probably not a one of them will ever enter a cave again. Its going to be a dull 3-4 months.

Hopefully they can get them all out. Sad that one rescuer already lost his life. Apparently he ran out of air, but he was bringing air tanks in. Whatever the case, it's a tough job for all involved. Godspeed rescuers.

Elon Musks submarine was a ridiculous design for any kind of cave use.

Whether his intentions were honorable or simply seizing on the opportunity to propagate himself we will never know. More than likely the later with his attacks on one of the chief divers.

Anyone that has had experience in Caving or Technical diving knows that unproven technology usually leads to death. Cave divers for the most part stick to established practices, because they work !!!
