I wait for the weather to turn at least a bit cool. I won't cut when it is above 70*, just too much hard work. I was going to cut this weekend, I may still cut tomorrow, but I spent most of my week off mowing down brush before I got too tired and fed up with it and quit for now, so I am taking it easy as I go back to work Monday and this was my "vacation" (unpaid).

I seldom use my fireplace or go camping anymore. But a few hours with good chainsaw and sharp axe is sweet mental and physical therapy.

Maybe that should become my post-retirement gig in a couple more years.

I just dismounted two old tires off of some ancient 16" Chevy split rims and I'm soaked through and winded. 40 yrs ago I would have had four of these off, balanced and remounted before my coffee got cold. Man I'm feeling old and out of shape all of a sudden.
