Would like this kept at the top so we all can read what efforts others are making to get sb941 pulled due to the corrupt way it was done. Just like the "what did you do in prep today" we need to know if ya'll want to be free or slaves.

Contacted my Rep. who is a personal friend. As a Democrat, he is doing all he can to protect our 2nd amendment. His frustrations are a Republican controlled OR Government. Emails and phone calls. Don't give up......

Huh? Republican controlled OR govt?

Well, to begin I wrote my legislators, went down to Salem to try and testify but personally ran out of time, and now I'm collecting signatures to help with the recalls of Riley and McLain.... idiots.....

Contacted mine and other's Reps ad nauseam early on, leading up to and during the whole damned thing.

Wrote the Governor who hasn't signed it for some reason yet, or did she? Here's the link. http://www.oregon.gov/gov/Pages/share-your-opinion.aspx Tell her your thoughts:mad:
Donated (not enough) to OFF:(

Annoyed friends and coworkers constantly about it. Got a couple to at least write their Reps too. Also woke them up to which Party is behind this "FIRST STEP" to registration and beyond.

Volunteered but haven't been called yet to the Val Hoyle recall, but she's not in my district. Planning to maybe collect some signatures in the West 11th area of Eugene. Want to do it right so I don't hurt the cause.

Negotiating with the wife who as a foreigner doesn't care about this issue so much, as to how much we can donate on the recalls as well. It won't be the tipping point for the recalls but every small donation adds up!

Wish I could do more but lifestyle choices (Part-time worker + Mr. Mom) means a tight budget and low cash flow. The good side is the extra time I spend with my kids will ensure they won't be complete Socialists by High School. They may even vote with gun rights as a priority!

I went to ARPC to gather allies in the fight, came back pleased with what they are doing for us. Club will get contact from Joe and we may have 2600 members joining or cause. Tomorrow is get the red out day for me.

Wrote emails to every rep and senator in Oregon, numerous times. Called offices, even tried to see my rep in person before the vote, with no luck. Wrote to my Sheriff several times. Wrote to the governor several times as well. Donated to OFF. Shared information with friends, co-workers, anyone who would listen, and asked them to get involved.

Now I'm waiting to see what happens with a possible Barton recall to see how I may be able to assist with that effort. When the 2016 elections roll around, I'll be working to keep Barton from being re-elected if the recall doesn't happen or isn't successful. I'm also continuing to let people know that, amazingly are still unaware of SB941, of what has happened so they can be motivated to get involved themselves.

Good deal louie, your words are like the corner stone we can build on. All the years you wrote to the newspapers and all the service you have done for the vets should be recognized. If everyone cared about this nation as much as you do this sb941 would never have happened.

Anybody here members of the Elks or Moose lodge?? A lot of good prospects there I would imagine. I signed a petition at a Moose lodge in Eugene many years back about a Tax that was being imposed after the people Voted NO.
They had a sign out on the curb and it was a hot issue at the time so I pulled in and got in line and signed.

Went to the web site for the governor and did the letter thing but it wouldn't send. Not a riendly site and my computer leaves a lot to be desired. O well, I gave it a try.

I'm a Washatonian and I sent out three rounds of E-mails to the swing votes (as noted on a few SB941 threads) asking them to really think about the ramifications of this unjust bill (IN A NICE WAY). I even came down and attended the rally in Salem!!!o_O
I hate elected officials who have unworthy agendas such as these retards that were elected!!!!
It really CHAPS MY HIDE!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Any of you who have friends out of state ask them to boycott Oregon this summer because of government corruption, we are under a gun emergency. We can shut down the tourism industry that feeds the corruption.
