For sale or trade: Thompson-Center Contender with a Match Grade Machine octagon barrel in .17HMR, Match Grade Machine 4-hole scope base, Simmons ProHunter Truplex Reticle Handgun Scope, 2-6x32mm with medium Burris Zee Rings.
Very good condition except as noted below. Barrel, mount, rings and scope were purchased new in 2015 and are all in like new condition. Less than 50 rounds down the barrel.
Full disclosure, it misfires about 50%. My understanding is that this is a known issue with Contenders and is a spring problem. I've intended to replace the springs, but I never did and it just sits in the safe, so down the road it goes.
$500 shipped or trades as follow. Taking barrel, scope, mount, and rings at retail, that's about $65 for the frame.
