No gun is included in the Second Amendment. It specifies a restriction on government, not an allowance for citizens. The Second Amendment doesn’t “apply” to any guns; it applies to government. The right to bear arms - any arms - is guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

Now there is a person who understands the 2A - except I would add that the 2A is not about guns, it is about arms in general, whether they be a stone axe or a warship.

To be fair though - such polls are not scientific - it is just the usual case that more pro-gun people showed up or knew about the poll than anti-gun people, or who cared to vote on it. Maybe it is somewhat representative, maybe not - posting a poll on Twitter is not a good way to truly determine public sentiment.

OTOH - the Second Amendment is about a Natural Right. You can't vote away Natural Rights - only the freedom to exercise them.

I would also guesstimate that far fewer pro-2A folks use Twitter than ant-2A folks. Just a feeling, nothing scientific about it.

Similar feeling regarding most “main stream” social media. Again tho, not scientific.

So, given my feeling about the amount of pro-2A vs anti-2A folks on there, he got routed.
