An eight-mile section of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina is closed after visitors were caught "feeding and attempting to hold a young bear," the National Park Service said in a news release.

Pretty much says it all!

I have no idea who first coined the phrase but, you just can't fix stupid, really does play out over and over.

Obviously these people were not going to be able to get out to Yellowstone NP so thought that Yogi & Boo Boo locally needed their hugs!

Sadly the real solution to this kind of stupidity will never happen. What should happen is morons should be allowed to be killed by animals while its filmed. Then let other see the video. Instead they slap the hand of the morons and kill the critters who learned to not fear humans. So punish the dumb animal instead of the stupid humans.
