I don't spend a lot of time thinking about things that may or may not have happened.

I'm too busy tracking black helicopters and making certain all my weapons are covered in non-reflecting, all weather tactical foil.

I have some for sale, would you like to buy some? (But ethically, I have to warn you that the government tracks all sales of tactical foil. Depending on your needs, you may be better served by regular tin foil.)

If they were actually conducted, why would these tests be any different than the ones conducted by Thompson-LeGarde in 1904?

You want to be careful with that. It's the non-reflecting that you want. Standard tactical foil shows up on radar, and FLIR-APERS units can still track you.

Cheap foil merchants will slip standard tactical in on you when you paid for non-reflecting, and it's impossible to stop them. You can't stay off the government's grid and maintain a reputation at the same time.

Of course, the other alternative is to snuggle under the blankies, and forget the whole thing.
