Story from the gun range

Showed up to the private range to do some shooting a couple weeks ago. Guy blew his kids rifle up a few benches away from me. Barrel went flying out over the firing line. Receiver split down both sides. Bits of plastic stock everywhere.

I can't even get my corgie to wear a costume for Halloween, can't imagine dressing a buck! Especially if it's in rut like @sobo

I once watched a guy try to zero in an AR-15 by twisting the scopes dust caps.

Nope, high and to the right for over 20 rounds. Once I mentioned what was the problem, it took two rounds to zero.

I only sight in about every 10 years!

Or worse - those buying a rifle and ammo a day BEFORE hunting season!

Maybe not so much of an issue these days with the lottery and fewer people hunting but I have witnessed this in the past.

Or someone calling me the morning of and asking if I have a few extra lol
