I'm going to have to employ your guide services one of these days!Yeah, we finally got some snow in the valleys that stuck around last week, and I am already over it. Lol.
But I do enjoy fishing in it.

Mild but rainy.Hows everyone's weather this winter? Extremely mild over here in north east oregon
Juussst Fine. I don't mind some cold, or some snow, but the 40 mph winds, 13 degree temps, snow and freezing rain from last you makes me wat to move back to Utah. It's a "DRY" cold there, and no freezing rain. "Freezing Rain", a sick, sick joke.Hows everyone's weather this winter? Extremely mild over here in north east oregon
I just drove to Boise last weekend. There was snow on the side of the road, and it tried snowing, but we were above freezing most of the drove. Drove the speed limit, or better, the whole way. Coming home, the rain was heavy and blinding.Hows everyone's weather this winter? Extremely mild over here in north east oregon

When I lived in the Seattle area I got snow dumped on the area 3-4 times. Once in the early 90s, then there was the time, I think it was about 2005 it took me 6 hours to get home from Kirkland to Everett because everything was backed up. Both of those times the snow hit just as everybody was getting off work.Over in the Puget Sound area its common for us to have no "real winter". Lots of rain, often very little ice. Every winter I do prep for it. Put snow tires on 2 of the vehicles since I work in health care. Many winters never need them. I do the prep because every so often we actually get hit. Lot of snow and many have no clue how to function if it happens. Worst is every now and then we get a good snow, then a hard freeze. Can take a week or longer for many roads to ever get cleared as we don't have the equipment to deal with it since it happens seldom. So far this winter has been another of the nothing ones. It is fun to watch when we do get a real hit.
Yep when we get hit everything comes to a stop. Last good one we got here several years ago I was living in the far east part of the county and working in the west. Going home hit I 5 and people had made one lane right in the middle of the 4 lane road. I got behind a semi who was going about 30 and settled in with music playing. Long line of cars and no one wanted to venture to either side to try to go fasterWhen I lived in the Seattle area I got snow dumped on the area 3-4 times. Then there was the big snow about XMas time - I think it was 2008-09(?) - across much of the PNW and I was trying to get to Oregon to be with family. That was bad because the snow/ice created huge potholes where the snow had melted near Wilsonville/Woodburn, and my 2WD car was very low to the ground.
