Ticks in the winter

Ive got a dog that is a serious brush buster.

I hunt with her , hike with her, and she is certainly an outdoor dog.

I keep her on quality meds against ticks year round.

IN December i was bit by a tick. This morning I awoke to a embedded tick.

It sure seems like there isn't an off season to ticks anymore.

Be careful i contracted Colorado tick fever from a early spring tick. You will know it when you get it....I always got them spring to fall

I had a tick bite last month. Dog is on Nexgard, but they still cling to her fur for a little while, and drop off in the house.

We had to go down to Phx AZ a few weeks ago and on the flight home some guys behind us where talking about how excited they were to hit the slopes at Hood and do some snowboarding . . .
