Springfield Armory website hacked

Update on my own: GMW still bent over with ankles grabbed, and closed my ticket without response. This leads me to wonder if they're In On It...

When did you order?

I had the same thing happen with them over the summer. Luckily, my CC company flagged the purchase and emailed me, so I didn't have to for it. I did have to cancel that card and get a new one though which was a bit of a hassle.

GMW did nothing to rectify the situation. I think it is mostly a problem with smaller online retailers that can't afford a proper IT guy.

This was late August, AFTER the breach was allegedly "fixed." My bank stopped the fraudulent transactions, and like you had to get a new card.

Thing is, when I saw the deal on Slickguns I immediately ran checks on them and did not buy until they reported "all fixed"...

Update. Springfield Armory fixed the SSL security risk for the Springfield Online Store website, but they have NOT fixed the same risk for the Springfield Warranty Registration website.

Springfield Armory's Warranty Registration website is still at risk of being hacked. If you purchase a new gun from them I recommend that you do NOT use the online website for warranty registration.

I got a letter from Kahr a while back saying the same thing. I knew years ago that this internet thing would be a problem.
