Yes it is and all i know is that when i bought it i was told it was 7.62x54. Don't know how to tell if it is R or what R is even. I assume Rimmed? And as far as i have been able to find out it is all the same stuff, just different designations

It appears to be 7.62 X 54R. Very standard tin for that.

No pics of the rounds in the can as the can is un-opened. But they will look the same as any other 7.62x54 round
