Howdy all. In the very near future I am planning on investing in a gasoline powered, one-man, earth auger. A project I have coming up will be much quicker and easier than digging holes the old fashioned way.

Has anyone had experience with the Southland line of augers? Ye or nay? If nay, any alternatives I should be looking at?

Thanks!

Might be able to score an older used Toro, they used to be THE brand for pro type work, not so much now days. Also might see if Honda makes one, I do not know if they do, but Honda run for ever and are about as reliable as they come!

Do you have access to a old tractor? Cause it's much safer. Just make sure to have guards around any pto rotation. The pto has killed many including a very close friend of our families.
