These are people that are going thru a lot of cognitive dissonance, the people who believe majority should rule just lost to the majority they've been gaslighting their whole life.
I haven't heard anything recently, how's the mass exodus to Canada going?

Trump won. The country said they wanted Trump. Trump and his associates will be in charge in a couple momths. Just don't complain about what you get. Burn baby burn.
About 30% of the country said they wanted him and a bit less wanted Harris, but I guess in modern politics that's a "landslide"

God, I love this stuff.

I think they are still counting ballots but hes still ahead by like 2.5M votes?
How did only 30% of Americans vote for him?

You do know that not every American that was eligible to vote actually voted, right? Quick numbers I found indicate 245 million Americans were eligible to vote in the 2024 general election, 150 million or so actually voted leaving about 90 million that didn't vote at all

Right. So what does that mean?

Because the US population is about 346M and 77M voted for him so really only about 22% asked for him directly

It's a numbers game to help losers feel better about losing.

Only so many of the registered voters actually voted. So the unvoters can be blamed for the losing while the winning voters can only count so much against the losers for not losing.

Can I scalp them or do I have to go? 🤔
Exactly. I don't think I could be paid to go to Super Bowl. However, if I could make a quick buck selling tickets, well, who am I kidding? 🤭

A little over a decade ago, after the Great Recession was in full swing, I was over in eastern Oregon on business. The real estate situation was a disaster, to put it mildly and a lot of places, even in broad daylight, looked distressed. On the Sunday I was headed back it looked like something out of a post-Apocalyptic movie: no one in the streets, shuttered buildings left and right, cold wind blowing garbage around, but one lone "survivor" (teehee) zipping about in his mobile. I hit a big box store on the way out to grab a water and it was empty as can be, other than one, bored young woman manning a cash register and reading a cheap novel. She was visible startled when I walked up to pay and she asked .... "who ya rooting for in the big game?" It was then I realized it was Super Bowl Sunday. :s0112:

I figured thats what this meant, but how is this any different than any other presidential election?

You guys understand the point I'm making. So many citizens care more about a major sportsball game than care about the direction our society is headed.
Well, yeah, but it still totally depends on who's playing.

If it's the bubbleguming Rams....I'm out.
