Good question Peter. It could be that Obama hasn't truly kicked the habit yet though

The article in the National Review surprised me. Here is what I don't know yet - was there always a loophole in Obamacare for this, or did say tobacco lobbyists find a subsequent loophole and they bought off the powers making decisions at a committee level?

"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—Okay, so let me get this straight so I understand.....
It is okay to take rights and liberties away from people, as long as it does not take away from your rights......sounds familiar.
What about people with a body mass index higher than 3%? BTW I smoke and pay for my own healthcare.
You pay for a health plan or you completely pay all the bills?
If you pay for insurance you don't pay your health care, just a part of it. Very few people can pay for all of their health care.

"Smoking is now a pre-existing condition"
As it should be.
Rewarding bad behavior only encourages more of it. Punishing good behavior will, in some cases, discourage more of it.
I respectfully disagree. I'm a Mormon. So, we are against all the stuff you all know about. But this is BS. If its a pre-existing condition, then so should all booze, and pain killers. This is total Feds telling people what they need to do to fit into the straight line. And I get we are paying for this health care, but its a slippery slope.
