I wish I knew. I haven't been able to find a good resource for checking the serial number and the label on the box isn't any help unfortunately. I was told I could call S&W and they'd tell me, but may charge for the infoWow! It looks to be in great shape. Any idea of year-of-manufacture for this little gem?
It is certainly a gemVery interesting piece. I was under the belief all mountainguns were aluminum framed. Beautiful
This 25-13 mountain gun is in excellent condition. 45LC. Cylinder line is very faint and no wear anywhere else on the gun. Original box. $875.
I'm primarily looking to sell but would consider trade for a benelli m2, partial trade for a sphinx or p10c or other czsView attachment 571125 View attachment 571126 View attachment 571127 View attachment 571128 View attachment 571129 View attachment 571130
Thank you for the info. I'll dig in and see what I can find outI ran across several resources that provide a pretty good idea which year a S&W is made, but the best source is S&W to have the pistol "lettered" (which you would need to pay $50) for:

I am certain it's from 2004. Original receipt shows purchase in 2004, and some factory paperwork reflects 2004Wow! It looks to be in great shape. Any idea of year-of-manufacture for this little gem?
