This 25-13 mountain gun is in excellent condition. 45LC. Cylinder line is very faint and no wear anywhere else on the gun. Original box. $800

I'm primarily looking to sell but would consider trade for a benelli m2, partial trade for a sphinx or p10c or other czs DADB70D9-2917-420A-BE7A-F9218D4458B9.jpeg EAC41914-6165-448E-B964-43B72DB6CDA7.jpeg 2EDF273A-CE45-4343-8B83-54DE4AC73F5C.jpeg 37BCBDD4-6C81-4488-9D93-5B8BDD16A4B9.jpeg 67F18C31-CE7E-48FD-9D2F-B156F36B6444.jpeg F6A2FD1F-7582-4658-A0A0-422F71BFCA9A.jpeg

Wow! It looks to be in great shape. Any idea of year-of-manufacture for this little gem?
I wish I knew. I haven't been able to find a good resource for checking the serial number and the label on the box isn't any help unfortunately. I was told I could call S&W and they'd tell me, but may charge for the info

I ran across several resources that provide a pretty good idea which year a S&W is made, but the best source is S&W to have the pistol "lettered" (which you would need to pay $50) for:

How to Identify/Date a S&W

These are rare, most seem to be 44 mag. .45lc in this Gun can handle loads that equal the 44 mag. This was my have to have gun 19 years ago. I could
D not find one and had to settle for a nice Colt Python. Nice! And a good price!

If you jump on the S&W forum and ask nicely, there are plenty of guys that will help you learn all you want to know. Post a couple of pics and the serial number and ask whatever you would like to know.

Yes 2004 is correct. It was a stocking dealer special in 2004, product code 160929 (look on box for product code). Back in the day this gun sold for around $750 when new, so asking price is quite fair.
