Speaking of the Sig "P" series and 9mm magazines.
If you're talking about those Sig 229-1 magazines. Well, the (newer P229) that uses the P-229-1 magazine is different from the 228 and (original) 229 magazines.

In other words.....
Since this pistol is the Sig 228. Stick to the Sig 228 magazines and the original 229 magazines.

I actually sold off my newer Sig 229 because it used the 229-1 magazines.

You see, I own an older P229 and P228. Anyway.....the mec-gar magazines that I purchased were Mec-gar and were GTG with both pistols (the 228 and the 229). And of course, if you buy the P226 magazines, it'll just stick out of the bottom by a bit. While it'll be just right, when used in the P226.

That being said......I don't know about what's happening today, with Mec-gar magazines. Yeah.....things could have changed.
