W. German Sig P225 stamped steel slide

I have an original Sig P225 for sale here. This was made in West Germany, and the slide was made from stamped sheet metal (unlike newer models with machined slides).

I am the second owner having purchased this pistol back from the original owner. This commercial P225's import was purchased brand new in the 80's. This is a geat shooter with all the familiar controls of the larger P226, but with a substantially narrower profile. This pistol has been completely reliable and I have had no issues with it since I've owned it.

I'm selling because this pistol just sits unfired in my safe.

Pistol has original I-dot sights, factory grips, 3 factory 8rd mags zipperback magazines, and the original factory box and paperwork all perfectly preserved.

Asking price is $700. FFL transfer at A Cut Above Pawn on 185th/TV Hwy.

Nice gun! The breach block is removable on the stamped slides. I have a friend who was a Deputy Sheriff, and he carried a P220,45 with a stamped slide for years. He bought a tune-up kit, and when we removed the breech block, the roll pins came out in pieces. He said the gun had well over 10,000 rounds through it and it still ran fine.
