I don't get the problem. Nothing new there.

The guns being "rented" at the shoots are NOT being transferred. They are ALWAYS under the control of legal owner. No transfer, no paperwork, no problem.

What the link says is IF the gun is being transferred for off site use then all the paperwork has to be done. So say ABC Gun's rents gun's. You want to rent an NFA item and take it home for the weekend it would be considered a transfer and require all appropriate paperwork.

I've never understood the fascination with full auto anyway...admittedly, I had my chance to shoot up a bunch of rounds while wearing a pickle suit, at taxpayer expense.... I guess I just didn't like having to hump all that ammo around and around.
