Shark Capsizes Boat: Angler Swims For Life Then Catches Shark.......................
Well, he hooked the shark correct?
Thats what I saw at least.. So its not like it went out of its way to do it.
I can't believe he got back in the kayak!
they do say if you fall off the horse you should get back on.
guess he decide to follow that advice but
that's one funny looking horse
Although, as a rule, the horse is not going to try to eat you
I have too much respect for the ocean to play around in a kayak. My 20 footer is still marginal in anything but the calmest seas.
I go kayaking and fishing in my Emotion Glide Sport on the Sound and have no problem. To use a kayak in the ocean for fishing you wand it to be wide for the most stability.
We know you can resuscitate a thread but do you carry a Band-Aid in case a shark chomps ya?
In a way yes. I carry a waterproof bag with a first aid kit, 2 fire starters, a knife, a bag of cotton balls, and a multitool.
Just saw some funny shark-encounter vids the other day - one of which a rather large shark decided to attack a zodiac type craft - chomping through the inflatable bladder. Bit of an "oh $h!t" moment for those on the boat, taking the video.
Then there was the dude with a big sail fish on, when what seemed to be a great white decided said sail fish was HIS. All the guys on the boat got was the dead. Cap'
n of the boat was pissed and barking orders to get the fish in, like the poor guy on the rod & reel could just winch it in...
Had that been me, it'd been like Jesus on the Sea of Galilee.... because Id'a been RUNNING on top of that water for the shore!!
Would that guy we from New Zealand? I may have seen that video.
I think the sail fish guys were from New Zealand or Australia, they had that type of accent.
Yup saw that one. That was a huge sailfish too.
Nope not happening in a kayak unless I'm smelting off of a dock!
You should try it sometime! Lots of fun
