Charter boat fishing Westport WA.

Just realized we didn't post anything about our fishing trip on the 4th of July.
My birthday.
@Melmelhunter booked a all day charter with Westport charters.
For my Birthday .
Salmon and bottom fish (aka) rock fish.
Anyways we had a great trip .
We were on the boat Tornado.
The captain was Dwight Swain .
Very nice boat .

Any Ling cod landed?

Ok best I can do at this time but arrived at the dock 04:30 the boat leaves at 05:00 racing another boat out to bottom fish .
Everyone get 7 rock fish then we move to look for salmon.
I got a lingcod 1 of only two caught on our boat and a barely legal COHO.
and 7 rock fish.
@Melmelhunter got a her 7 rock fish plus a Good COHO and a nice CHINOOK.
lol .
BUT SHE HAD A BIG CHINOOK GET AWAY.
she almost cried.

We smoked the CoHo it turned out good .
First time smoking .
Salmon the salt brown sugar maple syrup method.
Turned out good
