Lucky for Sezzle that Fast Ammo did a refund because Sezzle rejected my claim. They somehow believe that a 1.5 pound pistol, shipped in a 1.5 pound box (after loosing.5 pounds of packing paper) could have weighed only 2.0 pounds when FedEx picked it up. The empty box minus some packing paper weights 1 pound 8-1/2 ounces on FedEx scale - I'd bet $100 it weighed 2.0 pounds with the paper in it - there was NEVER anything in the box. Fast Ammo could see it, but Sezzle just hung me out to dry.

Just remember in a dispute, Sezzle is NOT on YOUR side.

I miss Sizzlean. Like bacon, but made with pork shoulder, beef and turkey. Man, that was good stuff.

I still for the life of me can never understand why people want to pay with something other than a Credit Card. There seems to be some kind of fascination with using some payment program then of course soon comes the crying about how someone got burned.

I got every cent back, and used a virtual card that I could totally control. Ive never borrowed anything, and someone recently mentioned that maybe my credit report should be other than blank - so I borrowed an amount I really don't need just to have the experience. I don't like what I've seen of credit. Never had a need for it ..

I should mention, after Fast Ammo said they refunded, Sezzle hit my virtual card (which was locked) with 5 attempts at charging me $105. And THEN sent the mail saying my claim was denied - after they got a refund from Fast Ammo

Ahhhhh. I declined her services.
She told me her name was "Mandy" and that was enough info for me to drive away. But still thinking about those bunny boiler eyes and the hot/crazy index.

Glad the OP got his $ back, and appreciate the posted info on a super sketchy service provider.

Man if you didn't have bad luck you'd have no luck at all. I've never had any issues with Sezzle. It is typically expected that you try to get your money back from the seller and/or store first before the payment handler, but in my case, basically the same as yours but not firearms related and it wasn't with a major store, I had a few emails back and forth and the down payment was back in my account in a couple days.

Supposedly last week my 3-months backordered bilge pump was delivered to my son's house - only nobody remembers a truck, much less one with a lift gate, or tagalong forklift. And yesterday they delivered another empty box, this one from Amazon. If it's been opened I don't know how. The rise of Gotcha capitalism! I'm still paying Frontier for DSL and phone at a house I sold over a year ago. If I had a new address other than the boat they'd just move my service. However, when I call they are very polite until I'm transferred to 'retention' department to actually cancel the service, they don't know the meaning of the words NO; cancel; remove; disconnect, or stop, and will often remark with 'so I'm hearing you'd like to add additional services.' it's been impossible to get them to disconnect, and when I got a new debit card number they asked my bank for the new number, and got it. I've talked to them enough to have figured out that 'retention' appears to be in DeLand, Florida... Gotcha!

I have never been in favor of setting up automatic recurrent payments. They are convenient until they aren't.

Unfortunately that was a requirement for me to get them to run DSL into my valley. I really appreciated having service, until as you point out I don't.
