I've seen older Winchester lever actions with double set triggers - very expensive.

I wouldn't mind getting a set trigger for my BLR takedown in .308. Of my lever actions, this is the one that would probably benefit the most, due to it being a better long range cartridge than the others (.44 mag, .45-70, .30-30).

I really like the set trigger on my CZ 527 carbine.

Yes, I know Timney makes what is supposed to be a good trigger for Marlin 336 or 1895 rifles, and I will probably get one of those - at least for my '95, but I would like a set trigger for one or both - on that is not only set (i.e., a choice of set or not set).

I personally have never seen a drop in double or single set for a Winchester or Marlin. If one is out there I would be very tempted to add that to my Buffalo Bill model 1894 26" rifle. It already has some nice upgraded peep and convertible hooded sights.
I did buy my Uberti model 1885 Winchester with a double set. 32" barrel 45-70.

The Winchester design might be useful for something else.

Or get a good tuned 2.5-3lb trigger and put on a trigger shoe to reduce the feel even more.
