IMG_0790.jpeg Does anyone have a Sentry safe that looks like this? I need a manual with instructions to reset the combination. I have tried YouTubes for similar locks but they don't work. I have the safe open . I just need to reprogram a new code. IMG_0788.jpeg

My generic AP111 safe lock works as follows:

1st user code change.

Press the reset button inside the door jamb.
The lock will beep twice and a yellow led light will turn on the keypad.
Enter your new code (1-8 digits). then press the ( * ) button
Test the lock several times before closing door.

Changing the 2nd user code:

Enter 00 on the keypad, then press the reset button.
The lock will beep twice and the yellow led will turn on.
Enter the new code (1-8 digits), then press the ( * ) button.
Test before closing.

I will give that a try. I think the # is what I am missing. It acted like it accepted my code change. But then nothing happens. But I am unfamiliar with safe operations .

You only press the * button when reprogramming the keypad and then the # button after you enter your new secrete code numbers when you're opening the safe

When I go to that Sentry web sight, it does not recognize my model number. And my key pad does not have a pound key or star key. I am pretty sure I have been able to program a new, code, I don' y know how the lock is supposed to work.

sorry if this is a dumb question, but does it have fresh batteries?
No. That's a GOOD question. Looking and fiddling with mine, I don't know how it comes apart? I'd have to go digging and hope I could find the paperwork.
I'll be back.......

All the more reason, I am done with digital safe locks.

I have two rifle safes in my control that I must now use the key instead of the keypad to unlock the safe.

I am on the third keypad for one of them and it still doesn't work, and on the other, less than a year old, it just started beeping and will no longer operate, in spite of the corrective measures suggested.

Exactly why I converted my safe to a three combination dial lock
