Soooo, just to play Devil's advocate here......What if the senator would have been questioning about a state employee say, being is Seaside in a boardwalk café drinking a beer during normal work hours? Wouldn't we be throwing kudos to an elected official in THAT circumstance? The man never mentioned losing the job, being reprimanded or written up, demotion? Where's an ethics violation in the story?

Burdick is certainly no friend of legal firearms owners, but she has every right to make sure state agencies and their employees are operating ethically.
