Limiting where one can sue the State for a State law to one county? None.
Dems don't care. They are fully aware of the constitutionality and simply tell legal counsel to SHFU. You and I will pay for it by raising money and contributing our own money for lawsuits, and the state will spend millions more of our tax dollars defending their actions.

I'm about as pro gun, and 2a as you can get, BUT when I'm in Fred Meyers in line behind someone with an assault rifle slung on their back, and 2 or 3 sidearms I don't think he's just exercising his 2a rights, but rather trying to intimidate folks. I usually say something to the effect of - dude, if you're so REVILED that you fear you will have to FIGHT your way out of Fred Meyers, do us ALL a favor - STAY HOME and order your bubblegum to be DELIVERED!

But most that are pro 2A wouldn't call a rifle an "assault rifle" as that is a political term purposely created to confuse the masses and demonize civilian legal, modern sporting rifles. I've only seen pistols open carried in day to day life at stores, have not seen a rifle carried into a store.

I called it an assault rifle because it was neither a hunting rifle, nor a main battle rifle - to an audience I thought would understand the difference. Sorry I'd have probably thought differently if it was a Nylon 66, or a 10/22 :)

You sound at most pro duck hunting or pro deer hunting, but not "about as pro gun, and 2a as you can get". Not at all.

The only actual "assault rifles" openly carried I've seen... Are ...not in America.

In America, AR-15s are openly carried, yes but they are not "assault rifles" because they are semiautomatic only

They're just "semiautomatic rifles/carbines", just like the M1 Garand, M1A semiauto versions of M14, and M1 carbines.

"Patrol carbines/rifles" also works.

I was behind two gravy seals the other day, a 400 lb man and a 350 lb woman and they each had at least two rifles and four pistols and we're dressed like they were going to war to buy some f****** Ensure and depends at at Fred Meyers. I asked them what they were so damn afraid of while they were shopping at Fred Meyers that they thought they had to arm themselves thusly. But what I found out is what they're afraid of is somebody asking them a logical reason why they're carrying 100 lb of weapons around in the store.

"Weapons of offence, or armour of defence."

I don't see anything in 2A saying a civilian cannot wear body armor and carry whatever arms they may want to. But I do know that there is a long history and tradition of regulating how to carry arms  especially "dangerous and unusual weapons" and manner of carry that "terrorizes and frightens the public"

Looking through the ORS 166 sections; there is notably no law prohibiting the open carrying of rifles or shotguns. Only the law of prohibiting concealed carry of "any firearms", without a CHL.

You THINK they are semi-automatic, but many aren't. I was at the gun park last week where someone's 'AR15' was doing 3-round bursts... Not that I care

You know, I don't think the problem is that the liberals are triggered. You guys seem to be triggered by me. Another f****** gun collector because I used a term that you think is incorrect. Well that's what I called them when I started collecting them in 1970 f****** 7

There's only 175,000 transferable, legal machine guns according to the ATF (pre 1986) (edit, out of 350+ million of firearms total). What you think are full autos/ 3 round bursts may simply be FRTs (including the Super Safety types) and Binary triggers. Of course, that's not to say that there aren't "illegally modified" ARs  however.. the vast majority of gun owners are law-abiding.

Oh I know that class 3 FFL licensees are the most law abiding citizens, and that a crime has never been committed with a legally registered machine gun. But you don't know that somebody didn't put a $45 part in their $300 generic AR, or doesn't have a 3-d printer. If have bet money (if it wasn't against my religion ) that the gentleman doing the three round burst was not so licensed but I really don't care.

Based on sound alone, could you tell the difference between a Super Safety/FRT and a legit 3-rd burst system or full auto?

Being that 3 round burst is bubblegumming complicated (and I don't know of anyone in the open source community working on one) I'd bet you that you either heard someone with a fast trigger finger, that they had a stamp or license for it or you misheard someone with a binary trigger or FRT. People with illegal giggle switches don't tend to stop at 3.

Have to drill the third hole in the exact right spot, and have the sear pocket milled to M16 or M4 specs to fit an USGI 3 burst or full auto system. The majority of AR lowers do not have the sear pocket milled out to those specs. Far easier and cheaper to stick a Super Safety/FRT/Binary system in there or a registered Drop In Autosear or lightning link

or unregistered DiAS like the yankee boogle, but then the last point applies.
