seecamp DA conversion

has anybody seen the seecamp conversion made for 1911 that converts them to DA/SA ? i would really love to find a side plate from one,i have an idea in mind i would like to try.i have found a pic online of what im lookin for and posting it.

The "Conversion" turned a very nice Single Action Trigger Pull into a Really, Really crazy HEAVY and LONG Double Action. The Single Action Trigger Pull was pretty much lousy from then on too. I'd guess that the only way you'll find one is from a Collector of CRAZY. Other than that it's going to be a crap shoot to find one. Of course, the CRAZY Collectors have paid the Top Dollar already so they'll want Twice That to let anything go.

i figured as much,i see them sometimes on the O.D.I. viking's,what i want to try is putting the plate on a colt double eagle,the grips on those really suck and nobody made any aftermarket ones because they didnt make them for very long.i can then use regular 1911 grips on it.

oh yeah,by the way,i been known to be one of those " collectors of crazy " also,but i try not to spend that much on "crazy" myself

Crazy is the Only way you'll find anything and then it AIN'T gonna work.
