Hell... in 50 years, 50 will probably be the new 30. Our generation is likely to exceed 120 year average life expectancy.

Well in my mind any idiot that plays video games all day and waits for their raises to be mandated by the government is a young buck. Hell I am 34. Yet I feel like an old man with all the jobs I have done and the way my grandfather and dad raised me.

Those guys thought about the need to survive. Now all they need to do for a boo boo is check on web md to be sure their scrape is not really some crazy disease.

Back growing up it was "toughen up and put some duct tape on that cut".

It's the luck of the draw, some people are born with good parents and some are raised in the nanny state as beggers and thieves. How long will it be before those who, work for a good retirement have to give it up for those who won't work? Allways look to your future as you live the best you can today.

Try not to be a dinosaur. Nothing is as you felt like it was - you just remember the ideals of the day, just as tomorrow will remember the ideals of today. When you're 80 you'll be pining about how things were "in your day," forgetting entirely how much you now think your day sucks now.

This whole attitude that everything use to be awesome and every is now stupid is a huge waste of effort. Quit bubblegumin' complaining about about how the species in evolving - can you change it? No. Or if you can, then do so... but whining is just whining.

Ya that was a good post as to how progressives think. Obviously you don't question if where you are headed is a better place.:D Under progressive leadership the culture isn't evolving it's sunk to a depravity not seen since socialist Germany.

I guess evolving has reversed. People want to go try the things history has shown us fails miserably all over again. Is that not the definition of insanity? Same thing over and over and expect different results?

Why do you keep bringing Nazi bubblegum into this? What the hell does Nazism have to do with anything? Don't you realize there have been hundreds of authoritarian/totalitarian models of government? America isn't following ANY of the patterns that set up Nazism in Germany. We're following plenty of patterns toward centralized authoritarian government, but NOT Nazism. Freaken A, man - read some books.

I question everything. That's a tenet of liberalism. It's the traditional conservative lack of questioning that's gotten us where we are right now.

No...

in·san·i·ty
inˈsanədē/
noun
  1. the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness.

Has nothing to do with doing the same thing and expecting different results.

All one can do is compare past governments with todays, a little history pretty much proves the roots of today's progressive comes from socialist Germany.

Liberals question everything:D no really you just have to look at the lock step they take to know they question nothing. They don't even allow people to speak and tell them to shut up cause its not with the party line. How many conservative speakers are even allowed to speak in our institutions of higher indoctrination?:D:D
