Since the "91" was not the shooter I hoped for I turned to a Hungarian M44 someone buggered up with a pistol scope and some other mods. Was using heavy ball ammo that I pulled and replace the bullet with a 150 grain tracer. Did not re-weigh the powder. These are neat, they don't trace but flash bright red when it hits thick steel. So at 425 yards there is a 24"x30" inch thick steel plate. Windage in a brisk cross wind was "12. Hold over was "24". I then gave that plate a good going over. Hit nit 1/2 the time easy. Once I got a 5 rounds on target. I was happy with myself at that, and had a witness. Who could not make a hit to save his life. Though he was the one who got the Tannerrite at 100 yards so I'll give him that.
