I have a Boyd's stock for a Savage A17 left over from a rifle that I sold. The stock has a small section by the magazine well that is cracked and is about to fall out, but it does not affect the operation of the rifle at all, it is purely cosmetic.
It can easily be glued in place, but I did not want to do that and then try to sell it without making any buyer aware of this flaw.
