I got's ya sausagefest right heeya............ or Dinner pics to be precise.


I made 15 lbs of German sausage on Sunday.

5 lbs venison
8 lbs pork shoulder
2 lb costco bacon
German sausage spices
Meat cure
real pig casings

Only 15#??????

I made 15,000#'s of peperoni today, or should I say my crew did.;)

also made 10,000#'s of jerky.
 
I use this setup, the attachment is cheap, around $30 less the KitchenAid


I'll have to pick one up.... My current stand-alone grinder gets hung up on the smallest piece of gristle, overheats my sausage, and just generally makes a mess of things.

I love my KitchenAid, it's a good old one that actually has the Hobart logo on the side. Don't use it for anything but bread dough and (especially) pizza crust. Don't need to. Until now, I guess.
