In Oregon, signs & store policies do NOT have force if law. Yet.

However a business can ask you to leave &/or file trespass.

Due to liability concerns there is not a single big box store anywhere that does not have that restriction.

So, if you don't want to be asked to leave follow the simple adage of:

Concealed means concealed.

Or pretty much stop shopping pretty much everywhere.

Costco will not let me carry a concealed gun in their store, but they sell gun safes. Seems hypocritical.

Not sure how it works in OR. Here in WA if they have a sign I just never noticed it. If there is a sign I would ignore it. Since I have never dropped a gun on the floor no one knows I have it.

Private property owners and their agents can "trespass" you by simply stating you must leave. If you do leave there will be no issues unless you return at a later time. Do that, or refuse to leave then law enforcement can be summoned and you are subject to arrest.

LOL, yes even when I was as young as that agent was I never used to get that wild. At my age now? Doing that would end up with me in the ER where I work
