Yes I'm guilty of "person" splaining.....

Folks this is one handy die to have around. With 308 being the parent case for so many, this die supports many calibers.
Brass expands at the web (.200 above the extractor groove) and eventually this leads to "clicky" bolts or hard to chamber rounds.
Instead of being on the plus side of SAAMI specs, this die sizes the body to be about .002" slimmer.

use this die first as it only sizes the body which can make your brass longer (it has to go somewhere right?)
then use your normal resizing die which will bump the shoulder and size the neck.

Really nice to have for high pressure cartridges like the 6BR.

When I load for semi auto, I make a point to run the brass through the SB die first.
