The kids and I were at the range this weekend and the S&W MP 15-22 had a couple double taps. A bit later I noticed the stock trigger pins on the hammer had worked its way out of the hole.
Now these are polymer lowers and the stock pins do not go completely across. It looks like they use std AR15 pins which are shorter than what is needed for this rifle.
At any rate, I ordered a set of KNS Precision non rotating pins made/sized specifically for this rifle. Installation is 5-minutes, and I'm very pleased with the quality and design.
For those with the S&W MP 15-22, I would strongly recommend buying a set to fix this weak spot in an otherwise bulletproof little rifle.
