My built 15 is having a trigger reset issue. Every time I cycle a round through the trigger won't reset unless I jiggle the safety switch. Seems to happen with all mags, brass and steel casings. Could this be a tolerance issue?

Another thing to check is if your pistol grip screw is too long. If it extends into the FCG pocket, it can push up on the tail of the trigger, which can cause reset issues. Also, what mfg is the lower or is it an 80% ?

80%, milled by yours truly. I'll take a look at the screw when I open it up later today

That is possible. I'll check the orientation. Can I do that without taking the trigger assembly apart?
Should be able to look with a light but if you can't than yeah you'll have to take it out. Also make sure to measure the depth of the trigger well to make sure its right and that the pins are in the correct location.

Thanks for all the help. We put over 350 rounds through this one today. 300 brass 5.56 Win and some crappy steel rounds and it ate all of them, no issue. Either some fiddling and oiling fixed it or it just needed the break in period, but it performed very well.
