I just wanted give a shout out to Smith & Wesson for what I thought to be excellent customer service.

I bought a used S&W22 compact and it was missing the owners manual, barrel wrench and the key for the integral lock. I sent them an email over the weekend and first thing this morning I got an email from them stating that they sent out all 3 and to expect them in about a week. I thought that was pretty good!

My next new gun will be a S&W! Good job SMITH & WESSON!

We use them as class guns. Fun little pistols, but keep an eye on all the fire control pins. We've lost a few and S&W won't sell you the pins. They'll repair them at no charge, but you have to send them in.

I had a good experience with my most recent interaction with S&W. It's been a while now, but the composite grips on the 642 were separating after less than a year. They replaced them, no problem.

I can say the same thing for ruger and Leupold. Both sent me missing items at no cost to me and it wasn't their fault I was missing the items. Seems like gun companies understand the importance of good customer service
